Back boards for BTCC events
Momentum and Tom Ingram have worked together on numerous projects throughout the years and the relationship is ever growing – providing ample opportunity to work on exciting concepts. Some of these projects include the video launch for his livery reveal with EXCELR8 Motorsport at the start of the season, as well as creative support with social media content.
On the back of these projects, we were in touch with his team regarding the design of back boards to go in his hospitality tent at BTCC race weekends. The brief was specific and required a total of six boards – all with a similar creative theme, but unique in a sense that they had to highlight different aspects of the EXCELR8 Motorsport team. In addition to showcasing the four drivers that represent them in the BTCC alongside various stats and information.
VIP hospitality
One of, if not the most important benefit for stakeholders with invested interest in motorsport is being able to attend the race days. This is a way that teams and drivers can give back to their sponsors – to enjoy the spectacle and take part! Also, to network – rubbing shoulders with influencers in the paddock to broaden relationship prospects.
Covid put a halt to this. However, recent restrictions have lifted giving fans access to the circuits – a breath of fresh air as the sport’s heavily missed atmosphere returns. Now that physical events are possible, it’s crucial for teams and drivers to host hospitality; inviting VIPs such as sponsors to race weekends. Entertaining guests this way, especially with accessories in place such as these back boards help EXCELR8 Motorsport stand out in the paddock. Setting themselves apart from other teams which generates further interest from other parties.
